I joined IFP in Sept 2016. I previously worked at ENEA-Frascati (2012-2016), Università degli Studi di Messina (2011-2012) and University of Bath (UK) (1999-2011).

Activity at IFP

Plasma diagnostics to detect synchrotron radiation from in-flight runaway electrons.
Analytic models for the analysis of runaway plateaus.
I have previously worked on Cherenkov diagnostics to investigate runaway electron losses in tokamak plasmas, THz Time Domain Spectroscopy, soft X-ray GEM detectors, diamond deposition by plasma jet.
I have a background in optical electromagnetic propagation in dielectric media and optoelectronic sources (lasers and superluminescent diodes).
